The Worst Mario Game Ever
Hotel Mario is a puzzle game produced and developed by Philips Media resulting from a failed deal with Nintendo to make a CD-ROM enhancement of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game features Mario, and the goal is to go through the seven Koopa Hotels within the Mushroom Kingdom. Each of these hotels contain ten stages and the objective for each of these stages is to close every single door. These doors may contain items such as coins, stars, and fire flowers. Hotel Mario was made in place of a failed sequel to Super Mario World, Super Mario's Wacky Worlds.

Super Mario Bros Special
This guy found this little treasure called "Super Mario Brothers Special", made for an obscure Japanese PC-8001 computer in 1986.
The game has a new set of levels, with different challenges from the well-known NES versions.
This excerp was taken from the site:
"This file contains everything you need to play SMB Special - the PC88Win emulator, the system ROMs, and the disk image itself. Simply unzip the file contents to a folder, load up the disk in drive 1, select "N Mode" from the "Options" menu and then reset the emulator. The game should auto-run from there. (Controls are numeric pad to move, Z and X the fire buttons. You can use normal cursor keys by switchng Num Lock off.) Enjoy, before Nintendo's lawyers have us all killed."

What is all about?
All about Mario. :-)
The real intention of this blog is to put together EVERYTHING about Super Mario.

"Mario (マリオ, Mario?) is a video game character created by Japanese game designer Shigeru Miyamoto and is the official mascot of Nintendo.[1] Mario was originally portrayed with two-dimensional sprites, but in later games he is a three-dimensional, polygonal model. Because of the common reference to him and his brother Luigi as the "Mario Brothers," it has been speculated his full name is "Mario Mario," and in certain non-game sources (comic books and the Super Mario Bros. film), this is the case. However, Nintendo of America stated in the 1980s that Mario and Luigi do not have last names.[2]
Mario is depicted as a somewhat short, chubby Italian plumber who lives in the Mushroom Kingdom. He is well known for constantly thwarting the plans of the evil King Bowser to kidnap Princess Peach and subjugate the Mushroom Kingdom, his plucky personality, enthusiasm and spirit in the face of enemies, unexpected physical agility, cooperation with his brother, and close relationship with Princess Peach whom he has repeatedly saved."
